Have you ever had one of those days where by the end of it, your head was pounding and felt as if you've forgotten how to breathe? That's been this month for me. Yes, that bad. Maybe worse.
I've lost count how many times I've nearly been fired or quit this month. Mostly how many times I've nearly quit. I'm sure I contemplated it at least once a day. I became addicted to Advil and Rolaids. I also spent a large amount of time smelling like peppermint.
Half way through the month, my eye started twitching. This past week,
I've noticed slight tremors in my arms and hands. Yoga isn't cutting it
anymore. I'm thinking maybe elephant tranquilizers won't even cut it.
Thank god I'm off from work for a week..
Within the past month, I have:
It's a wonder I haven't taken up drinking mass quantities of mind obliterating beverages. I'm a frazzled mess. I'm hoping this week off will allow me to recover. That way, when I return to work, I can start the process all over again. Here's to hoping I avoid the loony bin!
Pooh, i feel for you. You really have had a lousy time of it for what appears to be forever.
Concentrate on being kind to yourself this week, make it a week filled with things that makes "R" happy. It doesn't have to cost much, just focus on yourself :)
Michelle- This is sad to say, but I've actually been enjoying cleaning the house in preparation for my family's visit. I spoiled myself last night with a makeup purchase because retail therapy is the only fun therapy.

Hehehe...i adore retail therapy :)
Sadly i'm obsessive compulsive when it comes to my house, so i can understand the fun you're having!
Yay for a week off! For stress relief, I'm a big fan of cleaning furiously and listening to slightly angry music. And carb therapy if it's really bad. Oh and an orgasm doesn't hurt. Yay for a week off!

Michelle- Yes, it was shopping, organizing and much cleaning-- even some carpet shampooing thrown in for kicks!-- for me. The exhaustion really helped me get a decent night's rest.
Viv- I'm always a fan of angry music, particularly when cleaning or exercising. I also did the carb therapy. We had some brownies and lemon bars. We have less now. A lot less. Sadly, sex of any kind hasn't entered the picture. But yay week off!
